Itinerary

Day 1 :
Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park (230 KM | 4.5 Hrs)

Welcome to Guwahati. Meet and be assisted by our representative at the airport/Railway Station. Transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of the One Horn Indian Rhinoceros. Check-in at your hotel/Lodge/resort. Evening you may visit Orchid Park and the nearby Tea Plantations. Overnight stay at Kaziranga National Park

Day 2 :
Kaziranga National Park

In the early morning explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on the back of Elephant. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants and if you are lucky then tiger also. It is also home to pelicans, storks, and darters as there are several water bodies inside the Park. Return to the resort for breakfast. In the afternoon enjoy a jeep safari through the National Park. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 3 :
Kaziranga National Park– Shillong (280 Km | 6 Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Shillong, also called 'Scotland of the East". Reach the majestic Umium Lake (Barapani). You may do the water sports here (Optional). On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Evening you can visit Police Bazaar which is the biggest local market. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 4 :
Cherrapunji - Shillong (65 KM | 1.5 Hrs Per Way)

Get up early today to enjoy the mesmerizing mornings of Shillong. After an early breakfast drive to Cherrapunji, this is the wettest place in the world. Visit Eco Park, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), Mawsmai Cave, and Thangkharang Park. Evening return to Shillong. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 5 :
Shillong - Dawki - Mawlynnong Village - Shillong (90 KM | 2 Hrs per Way)

After breakfast visit Mawlynnong Village the cleanest village in India. This cute and colorful little village is known for its cleanliness. It is situated 90 km. from Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the Living Root Bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. Visit Dawki, It is along the Indo-Bangladesh border. You can enjoy boating in the crystal-clear waters of the Umgnot River. Evening we will return to Shillong. Overnight in Shillong.

Day 6 :
Shillong - Guwahati (100 KM | 3 HRS)

After breakfast check out from hotel. With everlasting memories transfer to Guwahati airport/railway station for onward journey.

Notes

The guide can be arranged at an extra cost.
There will be no refund for any unutilized services.
All guests must provide us with their ID (Aadhar) and photo for preparing the Inner Line Permit.
Extra beds or mattresses will be provided as per the hotel policy.
A room heater can be hired directly from the hotel. Hotels usually charge Rs. 500 per night.

Vehicle & Driver Policy

We cannot guarantee any particular brand of vehicle, irrespective of the booking period. In SUV category, we provide Innova / Xylo / Scorpio / Honda BRV or any such vehicle. In the Small vehicle category, we provide Swift Dzire / Etios / WagonR or any other such vehicle. Small vehicles do not have an overhead carrier.
Tempo Traveller does not have an overhead carrier. The 17-seater variant does not have either the armrest or recline.
We advise the guests not to engage with the drivers for any itinerary advice. They should always check with the tour operator in case they wish to add or deviate from the given itinerary. Never get into a confrontation with the driver. Maintain a calm demeanor and friendly attitude, which will improve the overall experience of the tour.
ACS does not operate in the hills and it will be switched off. Drivers generally agree to switch on for a limited time for a small fee, which must be settled directly.
